Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this website usable by everyone, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
Conformance target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Last reviewed: July 2026
Our commitment
Navara Health is committed to making healthcare information and scheduling accessible to every patient, including people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. Access to care should not depend on how you use a computer.
We work to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the recognized standard for making web content accessible, and they are the benchmark referenced under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Measures we take
- Text and background color combinations chosen to meet minimum contrast ratios
- Descriptive alternative text on images that carry meaning
- Semantic heading structure so screen readers can navigate page content in order
- Keyboard operability for navigation, links, and interactive controls, with visible focus indicators
- Form fields with associated labels and clear error messaging
- Responsive layouts that support text resizing and zoom without loss of content
- Descriptive link text rather than generic phrases
- Accessibility review included when new pages and features are published
Assistive access tools
This site is built to work with the accessibility tools already on your device. Text can be resized using your browser zoom, and pages are structured so screen readers such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and JAWS can navigate headings and links in a logical order. Keyboard navigation is supported throughout.
Known limitations
We are being transparent about where we are still working:
- Some third-party features, including our online scheduling system, patient financing application, and chat widget, are controlled by outside vendors. We have limited ability to modify their code and we raise accessibility issues with those vendors as we find them.
- Some older documents, images, and blog posts published before our current standards may not yet meet Level AA. We are updating these on an ongoing basis.
- Embedded third-party video may not always carry captions.
If any of these prevents you from getting what you need, contact us and we will provide the information or complete the task with you directly.
Alternative ways to reach us
You never have to use this website to become a patient or to get information. If any part of the site is difficult to use, call our office at (469) 653-3124 during business hours and a member of our team will schedule your appointment, answer questions, complete forms with you, or provide any page content in another format at no cost.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us. Where possible, include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, since that helps us reproduce and fix the issue faster.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within three business days and to resolve confirmed issues as quickly as is practical.
In-office accommodations
Accessibility extends to our physical practice. Our Dallas location is wheelchair accessible. If you need an accommodation for your visit, including auxiliary aids or communication assistance, please let us know when you schedule so we can arrange it in advance.
