Testosterone or Enclomiphene
Two paths. Your labs pick one.
Testosterone replaces what your body makes. It works, and it can shut down sperm production, sometimes for good. Enclomiphene releases the brake on your pituitary so your own testes keep working. If children are still on the table, it is usually the better start.
Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. Texas law requires an in-person visit in Dallas to start it and at least once a year to continue, and it is for Texas patients only. Enclomiphene runs entirely by video. No protocol is automatic. Doses are set from your labs and changed when your labs say to.
The Panel We Run
A single total testosterone reading is not a diagnosis. This is the baseline.
- Total testosterone by mass spectrometry, and free testosterone
- SHBG and estradiol
- LH and FSH
- PSA before any testosterone
- CBC with hematocrit, CMP, thyroid and lipids
Results take 7 to 14 days, because testosterone by mass spectrometry is a send-out test. Draws happen at a Quest near you.

A forty-minute phone call is a medical visit. It deserves a chart, a real plan, and your provider's full attention, so clinical questions are answered at a scheduled visit or, for members, by message. And membership means you never wait for an appointment to ask.

Before you book.
Do I need to come to Dallas?
Only for testosterone. It is a controlled substance, so Texas law requires an in-person visit to start it and at least once a year to continue, and it is for Texas patients only. Enclomiphene, sexual wellness consultations, hair loss evaluations and weight loss all run by video in the nine states where we see patients.
Testosterone or enclomiphene?
Testosterone replaces what your body makes. Enclomiphene signals your own system to make more, so fertility stays intact and the whole program can run by telehealth. If children are still on the table, enclomiphene is usually the better place to start. Your labs decide which one makes sense.
What does it cost to get started?
Every program starts with a Start Visit: $199 if you bring labs from the last 90 days, or $349 with your labs ordered for you. Both include a 60 to 75 minute Results Review where we go through every number with you.
What does the membership include?
Testosterone membership is $199 a month and enclomiphene is $159 a month. Both include your baseline panel and a six-month repeat, messaging with your provider, refills and dose changes. First responders and military pay $169 and $135. Quarterly prepay is $549 for testosterone and $419 for enclomiphene.
My total testosterone was normal. Is that the end of it?
Not always. A single total testosterone on a random morning misses free testosterone, SHBG and estradiol, and it misses the metabolic markers that often sit behind fatigue and ED. We run the full panel and read it against your symptoms.
Is ED a testosterone problem?
Sometimes. New or worsening erectile dysfunction is also an early sign of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, years before either is diagnosed. That is why a sexual wellness consultation includes testosterone and metabolic markers, and oral medication is offered first when it fits.

Testosterone. Testosterone is a Schedule III controlled substance. Under Texas law and DEA requirements it requires an in-person evaluation and is available to Texas patients only. Controlled substances are not prescribed by telehealth alone. TRT is prescribed at provider discretion after a full evaluation including PSA screening, and it is not appropriate for every man.
Enclomiphene and compounded medications. Enclomiphene citrate is not FDA-approved for the treatment of male hypogonadism and is prescribed off-label. Compounded preparations are made by licensed 503A pharmacies against an individual prescription and are not FDA-approved.
