Metabolic
Weight Loss & Metabolic Evaluation
Testing and review included
$189
Consultation · Panel · Results review

Built for anyone starting a GLP-1 program or stalled partway through one. It answers the question the scale cannot: whether something metabolic is working against you.

  • Full thyroid panel with free T3 and free T4
  • Fasting insulin and A1c
  • Lipids, CMP, and CBC
  • Vitamin D and iron studies with ferritin
  • Cystatin C, a second kidney measure that stays accurate during rapid weight loss

Fatigue
Fatigue & Energy Evaluation
Results in 2 to 5 days
$199
Consultation · Panel · Results review

For tiredness that sleep does not fix. This is the fastest evaluation we run, because nothing in it goes out for mass spectrometry. It checks the causes of fatigue that are common, measurable, and correctable, and it tells you within a week whether the answer is here or somewhere else.

  • Complete blood count and full metabolic panel
  • Iron, TIBC, and ferritin, the most common miss in women
  • B12, folate, and magnesium
  • Vitamin D and A1c
  • Thyroid screen with reflex to free T4
  • A provider visit to go through every result with you

PCOS
PCOS & Androgen Evaluation
Testing and review included
$249
Consultation · Panel · Results review

For irregular or absent cycles, acne, unwanted hair growth, or weight that will not move. It measures androgens the right way and rules out the conditions that look identical to PCOS and are treated completely differently.

  • Total, free, and bioavailable testosterone by mass spectrometry, with SHBG
  • DHEA-S, the adrenal androgen
  • LH, FSH, and prolactin
  • Fasting insulin and A1c, because insulin resistance drives much of this
  • Thyroid screen with reflex to free T4, and a full lipid panel
  • Blood work is one part of the diagnosis, not all of it, and your provider will tell you what it does and does not settle

Hair
Medical Hair Loss Evaluation
Two ways to order
$279 or $349
Testing Only $279 · With Consultation and Review $349

Identifies hormonal, nutritional, and thyroid contributors to thinning and loss in women and men. Which version of the panel you get depends on your history, and your provider selects it. Take the $349. Hair loss results are rarely a single obvious number, and the pattern across thyroid, iron, and hormones is where the answer usually sits.

  • Full thyroid panel with antibodies
  • Iron, TIBC, and ferritin
  • Vitamin D and DHEA-S
  • Total, free, and bioavailable testosterone by mass spectrometry
  • PSA for men over 40, or autoimmune screening where scarring is suspected

Essential Health Evaluation
Testing and review included
$299
Consultation · Panel · Results review

A full baseline across hormones, thyroid, metabolic health, and nutrients. The right starting point if you want to know where you actually stand rather than test one thing at a time.

  • Total, free, and bioavailable testosterone by mass spectrometry
  • Estradiol, FSH, LH, prolactin, and DHEA-S
  • Thyroid screen with reflex to free T4
  • A1c, lipids, CMP, CBC, and ferritin
  • Vitamin D and PSA with reflex to free PSA

Deepest Picture
Advanced Health Evaluation
Testing and review included
$449
Consultation · Panel · Results review

Everything in the Essential Health Evaluation, plus the markers that change what a provider actually does. This is the tier where the extra spend buys decisions rather than a longer list.

  • Everything in the Essential Health Evaluation
  • Full thyroid panel with free T3 and free T4, not just a screen
  • Fasting insulin and hs-CRP
  • IGF-1 by mass spectrometry
  • Iron, TIBC, and ferritin rather than ferritin alone
  • Cystatin C for a second, more reliable kidney measure

Bariatric & GLP-1
Women's Bariatric & GLP-1 Complete
Testing and review included
$329
Consultation · Panel · Results review

Built for women after bariatric surgery or on a GLP-1, where rapid weight loss and reduced intake create deficiencies that a standard panel does not look for. Thiamine is the one that matters most and the one almost nobody checks, because a deficiency can become permanent neurological injury rather than a number that drifts back. Hormones are included because losing a large amount of weight changes them. A men’s version of this evaluation is available, with pituitary hormones and PSA in place of the female hormones.

  • Thiamine, B12, and folate, the deficiencies that follow reduced intake
  • Iron, TIBC, and ferritin with a full CBC
  • Estradiol, progesterone, DHEA-S, and testosterone by mass spectrometry
  • Fasting insulin, A1c, lipids, and CMP
  • Thyroid screen with reflex to free T4, and vitamin D

Flat Rate, or Your Insurance.

You can take one path or the other for a given order, but not both, because a flat-rate bundle and an insurance claim cannot bill for the same draw.

Path One
Flat-rate panel

You pay one published price and you know it before you book. That covers your consultation, the testing, and your results review. Nothing arrives from a laboratory weeks later.

This is the simpler path and the one patients usually choose. HSA and FSA cards are accepted where your plan allows lab testing as a qualified expense, and we can provide a superbill on request if you want to try for out-of-network reimbursement.

Path Two
Billed to your insurance at Quest

We send the requisition so Quest bills your plan directly. You pay us for the provider time, and the laboratory charges go to your insurer. This can work out cheaper if you have already met your deductible.

It can also work out considerably more expensive, and we cannot tell you in advance which it will be. Read the note below before you choose this path.

If you use insurance, know these three things

Hormone and wellness panels are frequently denied. Insurers often classify testing ordered to optimize rather than to investigate a diagnosed problem as not medically necessary. That denial can come after the draw.

Individual tests inside a covered panel can be denied separately, so a panel your plan approves can still generate a partial bill.

Bills from Quest typically arrive four to eight weeks after your draw. Call the number on your insurance card or contact Quest before your appointment to confirm your benefits. Navara Health is not responsible for denied claims, insurance balances, or coverage determinations.

Four Steps, Start to Finish.

01
Book and complete intake

Choose a panel or book the Lab Consultation and Review if you are not sure which one fits. Your intake form comes with the booking.

02
Your provider selects the panel

A short virtual visit covering your symptoms, goals, and history. Your provider confirms the panel or adjusts it, and explains what they are looking for.

03
Get drawn at Quest

Your requisition is sent securely by email. Take it to any Quest Diagnostics location. Fasting is required for every panel, eight to twelve hours, water only.

04
Results, explained

Your review visit is included in every flat-rate panel and you book it yourself once your results are back. You keep your results and can share them with any provider.

Results take 7 to 14 days, and there is a reason.

Every panel here measures testosterone by mass spectrometry rather than the cheaper immunoassay most clinics use, because immunoassay is unreliable at the low and high ends where the clinical decisions actually happen. That assay is a send-out and takes about a week, and a panel is only finished when its slowest test is finished. We would rather you wait a few extra days for a number worth acting on.

Things Worth Knowing First.

Labs are data, not a diagnosis

Results give you information. They are not a diagnosis and they do not replace a clinical relationship. Abnormal results need interpreting against your full picture, which is why a review is built into every flat-rate panel here rather than sold separately.

A review is not a treatment plan

Your review visit explains what your results mean and what the sensible next steps are. A formal treatment plan requires an established provider relationship. If your results point toward hormone therapy or another program, your provider will walk you through what that involves.

Some testing needs an in-person visit

Testing itself is available in all 11 states where we are licensed. Testosterone therapy is a Schedule III controlled substance and Texas requires an in-person evaluation before it can be prescribed, so an out-of-state result pointing that direction cannot lead straight to treatment. Adults 18 and over only.

What Patients Ask Most

Do I need an appointment to get blood work?
Not a traditional office visit, no. You book a panel or a lab consultation, meet your provider briefly by virtual visit so the right testing gets ordered, and then take your requisition to any Quest Diagnostics location. Most Quest sites take walk-ins. What you do not need is a referral, a physical exam, or a months-long wait for a primary care slot.
Which panel should I order?
If you want a broad baseline, the Essential Health Evaluation at $299 is where to start. The Advanced Health Evaluation at $449 adds free T3, insulin, hs-CRP, IGF-1, iron studies, and cardiovascular risk markers. If you are tired and want an answer this week, the Fatigue & Energy Evaluation at $199 comes back in two to five days. If you have irregular cycles, acne, unwanted hair growth, or weight that will not move, the PCOS & Androgen Evaluation is $249. If you are on or considering a GLP-1, the Weight Loss & Metabolic Evaluation at $189 is built for that. If hair thinning is the reason you are here, the Medical Hair Loss Evaluation comes two ways: Testing Only at $279, or With Consultation and Review at $349, which is the one worth taking. And if you genuinely are not sure, book the Lab Consultation and Review at $199 and your provider will build the right order around your actual symptoms.
Is the results review included?
Yes, on every flat-rate panel. Your price covers the consultation, the testing, and a scheduled visit to go through what came back. You book that review yourself once your results are in. The Medical Hair Loss Evaluation is the one exception, because it comes two ways. Testing Only is $279. With Consultation and Review is $349, which is what we recommend and the one worth taking. We do not think you should have to pay twice to have your own results explained.
Can I use my insurance?
For the laboratory testing, yes. We can send your requisition so Quest bills your plan directly, and you pay us for the provider time. That is a separate path from the flat-rate panels, and you choose one or the other for a given order. Be aware that hormone and wellness panels are frequently denied as not medically necessary, individual tests inside a covered panel can be denied separately, and bills from Quest arrive four to eight weeks after your draw. Call your insurer before your draw to confirm benefits.
How long do results take?
It depends on one test. Any evaluation containing testosterone is seven to fourteen days, because we measure it by mass spectrometry rather than the cheaper immunoassay, since immunoassay is unreliable at exactly the low and high ends where decisions get made. That assay is a send-out and takes about a week, and a panel finishes only when its slowest test finishes. The Fatigue & Energy Evaluation contains no mass spectrometry, so it comes back in two to five days. Most other markers are back in two to three days.
Do I need to fast?
Yes, for every panel here. Eight to twelve hours, water only. Two other rules matter more than people expect: stop biotin 72 hours beforehand, because it interferes with thyroid and hormone assays and hair, skin, and nail supplements are full of it. And if you are still having periods, draw on cycle day 2 to 5. If you are not, any day is fine.
Can you build a custom panel?
Yes. Book the Lab Consultation and Review at $199, which covers a visit to select your testing and a second visit to go through the results. The testing itself is then billed separately, either at cash-pay rates or to your insurance. This is the right route if your situation does not fit one of the standard panels or if you want to combine markers across categories.
I already have labs from another provider. Can you review them?
Yes. The Existing Lab Review is $100 and covers a visit to go through results you already have, with no new testing ordered. Bring anything from the last 90 days. If your provider decides new testing is warranted after looking, they will tell you what and why rather than ordering it automatically.
Is this available outside Texas?
Lab ordering and review are available in all 11 states where Jessica Boggs, APRN is licensed: Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington. Draws happen at your nearest Quest location. One limit worth knowing up front: testosterone therapy is a controlled substance requiring an in-person visit in Texas, so results pointing that direction cannot lead straight to treatment if you are out of state.
