Two Routes. You Pick.

Most practices send your prescription one place and never mention there was a choice. As a member you get both options, and we will run the comparison for your specific medication rather than assume one is always better.

Route One
Your pharmacy, on your insurance

We send the prescription to whichever pharmacy you already use and you fill it on your plan. If your copay is low, this is usually the cheaper and faster answer, and there is nothing to ship.

This is the right route for a lot of common generics, and we will say so rather than route you through us on principle.

Route Two
Our cost, from our partner pharmacy

We order it at the price we pay, with no markup on the drug, and it ships to your door. Useful when you are uninsured, when you have a high deductible, or when your plan does not cover what you have been prescribed.

Common generics, per tablet about $0.50 to $0.85
Typical 30-day supply about $15 to $25
Shipping, per order about $15
So one medication, delivered about $30 to $40

Shipping is charged per order, not per medication, so filling three at once costs one shipping charge rather than three. That is worth timing.

We compare them for you.

Which route is cheaper depends on your plan, your deductible, your discount card, and the specific drug and dose. Sometimes it is obvious and sometimes it is close. Bring us what you currently pay and we will tell you honestly which way to go, medication by medication. Laboratory work is handled the same way, at our cost with nothing marked up, or billed to your insurance through Quest if that works out better for you.

Illustrative per-tablet pricing for common generic medications through our partner pharmacy. Actual cost depends on the medication, the dose, and current pharmacy pricing. Shipping is charged per order and varies with delivery speed. This covers the generic formulary rather than brand-name or specialty medications, and it is not insurance or a prescription drug benefit.

Personalized. Accessible. Relationship-Driven Care.

Direct Primary Care is a flat-fee medical membership that replaces the traditional insurance-based primary care model. Instead of volume-based medicine where you wait months for a rushed appointment, DPC gives you direct access to your provider, longer visits, and a real relationship built on continuity of care.

At Navara Health, DPC is delivered primarily by virtual care with in-clinic options for Dallas-area patients. Enrollment is by provider approval, which means every member is a fit for this model and your provider has the capacity to actually care for them properly.

"DPC is not insurance. It is a modern way to receive primary care that prioritizes time, access, and continuity."

Full primary care visits

Preventive care, wellness planning, chronic condition management, and medication management, all included in your membership.

Same-day or next-day access

No waiting months for an appointment. Members get priority access to their provider when they actually need care.

Secure virtual care and messaging

Reach your provider through secure virtual visits and messaging. Direct Care membership is Texas only. Our other services are available in 11 states.

Lab review and care coordination

Results reviewed, explained, and acted on. Coordination with specialists when needed. Your provider manages the full picture rather than one slice of it.

Transparent, cash-pay pricing

No surprise bills and no copays. One flat monthly fee covers your primary care, and it works alongside insurance or a high-deductible plan.

Two ways to fill a prescription

Send your prescription to your own pharmacy on your insurance, or order it through us at our wholesale cost plus shipping. We compare the two for you and the choice is yours.

The Right Fit for the Right Patient.

DPC works best for patients who want a consistent provider relationship, proactive care, and transparent pricing, rather than fragmented reactive medicine. It is not the right answer for everyone, and we would rather say so at your discovery visit than take your money.

A good fit if you are

  • Looking for a consistent provider who knows your history
  • An adult seeking preventive and proactive healthcare
  • Managing stable chronic conditions
  • Taking regular medications and paying retail for them
  • Wanting metabolic, hormone, and longevity oversight
  • Insured, but wanting better access alongside it
  • On a high-deductible plan and looking for affordable primary care

DPC does not cover

  • Emergency care or hospital-based services
  • Specialty care requiring procedures or imaging
  • Surgical services
  • Prescription drug coverage, this is not insurance
  • Mental health medication management, we refer instead, see below
  • Care for children, this is an adult practice
Many members carry a high-deductible insurance plan or a health sharing plan alongside their membership to cover these. Your provider can help you think through what makes sense for your situation.
Mental health has a proper referral, not a dead end. We do not manage psychiatric medication here. We refer to a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who sees patients by telehealth and takes insurance, and for members already on those medications we can collaborate with them directly so your care is coordinated rather than split.

Enrollment Is By Provider Approval.

DPC is designed for patients who are a genuine fit for this model of care. Before enrollment, everyone completes a discovery visit so your provider can confirm it is appropriate for your needs.

01
Book your $100 discovery visit

Schedule your virtual discovery visit. This is required before enrollment and cannot be skipped.

02
Provider reviews your history

Your provider reviews your medical history, current medications, diagnoses, and expectations to confirm DPC fits what you need.

03
Enrollment confirmed

Once approved, you receive your membership details and begin your care relationship at Navara Health.

Enrollment is by provider approval only, and completing the discovery visit does not guarantee it. That is deliberate. A membership practice only works if the provider has real capacity for every member, so we would rather turn someone away at the discovery visit than enroll them and under-serve them.

Simple, Transparent Pricing.

One flat monthly fee. No copays, no surprise bills, no enrollment fee. Enrollment requires a $100 discovery visit and provider approval, and membership is month to month.

Pay annually and save.

Individual $1,069, which saves you $119. Couple $1,929, which saves you $219. One payment, twelve months, no enrollment fee and no contract. If you cancel an annual prepay partway through, each unused whole month converts to account credit at the standard monthly rate, good for one year toward any Navara service. If we end your membership for a clinical reason, we refund the unused portion instead.

Direct Care is available to adults aged 18 to 64. We are not able to offer membership to Medicare beneficiaries. If you are on Medicare we are happy to see you for our other services, and you can call us to talk through what makes sense. Membership is intended to cover a reasonable amount of primary care use. In the rare case that usage goes well beyond what a membership can sustain, your provider will talk with you about it directly rather than quietly limiting your access.

What Patients Ask Most

What is direct primary care?
Direct Primary Care is a flat-fee medical membership that gives you direct access to your provider for routine and preventive healthcare. At Navara Health it is $99 a month for an individual and $179 a month for a couple, for adults aged 18 to 64, and it is currently available to Texas residents. There are no copays, no surprise bills, and no rushed visits. A $100 discovery visit is required before enrollment.
How do prescriptions work as a member?
You have two options and we help you pick. We can send the prescription to your own pharmacy so you fill it on your insurance, which is often cheapest if your copay is low. Or we can order it through our partner pharmacy at the price we pay, with no markup on the drug. Common generics run about $0.50 to $0.85 a tablet at that rate, so a 30-day supply is roughly $15 to $25, plus about $15 shipping per order. Shipping is per order rather than per medication, so filling several at once only costs one charge. Which is cheaper depends on your plan, your deductible, and the specific drug, so bring us what you currently pay and we will compare them for you. This covers the generic formulary rather than brand-name or specialty medications.
Does DPC replace my health insurance?
No. DPC is not insurance and does not replace it. It covers your primary care. Most members carry a high-deductible insurance plan or a health sharing plan alongside their membership for specialty care, hospital services, and emergencies. Many people find that combination more affordable and more functional than traditional insurance alone, but you should make that decision with your own numbers in front of you.
What about mental health medication?
We do not manage psychiatric medication at Navara Health, and we would rather say that plainly than manage it poorly. What we do have is a referral to a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who sees patients by telehealth and takes insurance, so it is often covered rather than another cash-pay cost. For members already on those medications, we can collaborate with that PMHNP directly, which means your primary care and your psychiatric care are actually talking to each other instead of running separately. Raise it at your discovery visit and we will make the introduction.
Is enrollment guaranteed after the discovery visit?
No. Enrollment is by provider approval only. The $100 discovery visit determines whether DPC is an appropriate fit for your medical needs, and not everyone is suited to this model. Your provider will be honest with you about whether it is the right approach for your situation, which is better than enrolling you and under-serving you.
What conditions can be managed through DPC?
Preventive care, wellness planning, stable chronic condition management, medication management, metabolic and hormone oversight, and lifestyle guidance. It suits patients with general adult primary care needs. Conditions requiring frequent specialist involvement, hospital services, or complex procedures sit outside the scope, and your provider will coordinate that care rather than provide it.
Is DPC available by virtual care?
Yes, and it is delivered primarily that way. Direct Care membership is currently available to Texas residents only, while our other services are available across 11 states. In-clinic visits are available for Dallas-area patients when appropriate, and your discovery visit will confirm eligibility.
Can I also get hormone or weight loss care as a member?
Yes, and members get $25 a month off those programs. Hormone optimization, GLP-1 weight management, and regenerative protocols are separate services with their own pricing and are not covered by the membership itself. What membership gives you is a provider who already knows your history, which makes coordinating them straightforward rather than starting from scratch.

New Patients

Complete your intake before your visit.

Every new patient completes a medical intake and consent form before their first appointment. Doing it now means we can review your history in advance and spend the visit on you rather than paperwork. If you have laboratory work from the last 90 days, upload it here and we will review it before your visit.

Ready to Start?

Start With a Discovery Visit.

A $100 virtual discovery visit with Jessica Boggs, APRN. We review your history, your medications, and what you actually need, then tell you honestly whether Direct Care is the right fit. Membership is $99 a month for an individual and $179 for a couple, with no contract.

Direct Care is not insurance and does not replace it. Membership is available to Texas residents aged 18 to 64 and is by provider approval. Medication pricing reflects our partner pharmacy wholesale rates, is quoted per tablet, excludes shipping which is charged per order, and varies by product and dose. Prescriptions may alternatively be sent to your own pharmacy to be filled on your insurance. Prices are subject to change.
