Cookie Policy
What cookies this site uses, what each one does, and how to change your mind at any time.
Applies to: navarahealthtx.com
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as whether you are signed in or what preferences you have chosen. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others are optional and only run if you allow them.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow non-essential cookies. Nothing optional runs until you choose. Your decision is stored for 12 months, and you can change it whenever you like.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Page loading, security, form submission, appointment scheduling, and remembering your cookie choice. | No. The site cannot function without these. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Tells us which pages people read and where they leave, so we can improve the site. Reported in aggregate. | Yes. Off until you allow it. |
| Marketing | Measures whether our advertising reaches the right people and limits how often the same ad is shown. | Yes. Off until you allow it. |
Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us directly. We do not control how those companies process the data they collect, and their own privacy policies apply:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for site measurement
- Our scheduling platform for booking and patient portal access
- Our website platform for hosting, security, and performance
- Our messaging widget if you start a chat with our office
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use cookies to collect or infer health information, and we do not share browsing activity on this site with advertisers in a way that identifies you.
Information you provide as a patient is protected health information and is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy.
Turning cookies off in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge alike. Note that blocking all cookies may prevent parts of this site, including online booking, from working correctly.
Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not currently act on it. Use the banner instead, since that choice we do honor.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools change. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
