Getting started

How does care at Navara work?

Most care starts as an online review. You book the service you want, complete your intake with your health history, photos and labs where they apply, and Jessica Boggs, APRN reviews it and sends your written plan with options and pricing. No call is needed. If you would like to talk, a phone, text or video visit is available by appointment.

Do I need a visit?

Not for most services. Procedures like PRP, injections and IV therapy happen in our Dallas clinic, and testosterone therapy requires a live visit. Everything else starts with your intake.

Where do I start if I am not sure what I need?

Start with the Products page if you already know what you want, or text us and tell us what is going on. We will point you to the right place to book.

Who can be seen?

Adults 18 and older located in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Vermont and Washington. Patients in New Mexico and Oklahoma start with a live video visit. Urgent care visits are the only service open to patients under 18.

Do you take Medicare or Medicaid?

No. We do not participate in Medicare or Medicaid and cannot treat anyone enrolled in Medicare, Medicare Advantage or Medicaid, even on a self-pay basis.

Online reviews and prescriptions

What happens after I book an online review?

You get your intake right away in your patient portal. Your review starts when your file is complete, and Jessica usually reviews it within one business day. If something needs clarifying, we text you.

What does the online review fee cover?

It covers Jessica's clinical review of your intake, whether or not a prescription is approved. Cancel before you submit your intake for a full refund. Once your intake is submitted, the review fee is non-refundable.

When am I charged for the medication?

Only after approval. The medication is invoiced separately, your card on file is charged, and your supply ships from a licensed pharmacy straight to you. Nothing ships until it is paid.

Are compounded medications FDA approved?

No. Compounded medications are prepared for you by a licensed pharmacy and are not FDA approved. If a generic exists and you would rather have it sent to your local pharmacy, ask us.

Is a prescription guaranteed?

No. Submitting an intake is a request for evaluation. Jessica decides what is safe for you based on your history, and sometimes the answer is a different treatment or no prescription at all.

Refills and follow-up

How do refills work?

About two weeks before your supply runs out, we send a short refill check-in through your patient portal, with a text reminder a week later. Once it is back and approved, your card on file is charged and your next supply ships.

What if my medication is not working or I have side effects?

Tell us on your refill check-in or text us. Jessica can adjust your plan. For anything urgent, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Do my prescriptions need to be renewed?

Yes. Most online prescriptions need a renewal review on a set schedule, with updated answers and photos, so your plan stays safe.

Billing and payments

Is Navara cash pay?

Yes. You see the price before you book. HSA and FSA cards are accepted wherever your plan allows, and financing is available through Cherry. We can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance yourself.

What is the booking deposit?

Phone, video and in-clinic visits carry a $100 booking deposit that goes toward your visit. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund. Later changes or a missed visit forfeit the deposit.

How do labs get billed?

Services that include labs are paid in full at booking and are non-refundable once the lab order is sent, which usually happens right after payment. Labs drawn at Quest can go through your insurance instead, but we cannot guarantee your plan will pay.

How do memberships bill?

Memberships follow the terms shown when you enroll, including any minimum length and the written notice needed to cancel.

Reaching us

What is the fastest way to reach you?

Can I call?

Texting gets the fastest answer, because Jessica sees patients between messages. If you would like to talk, book a phone or video visit and we will be ready for you.

Is this for emergencies?

No. For chest pain, trouble breathing, a severe reaction or anything that cannot wait, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
